Yi (Chloe Bennet) is a young woman who is trying to be able to raise some money in China by doing odd jobs.

Yi hopes he can raise enough money to be able to fund extensive trips throughout the country.

Yi planned to work with his father before he died, but it was not easy.

In Yi’s life, a mysterious Yeti creature who injured and also sought protection from Yi, hiding from a hunt carried out by an old man named Burnish (Eddie Izzard) who sought the Yeti to be displayed in public so that Burnish could become wealthy. Burnish is assisted by a doctor named Zara (Sarah Paulson) who is a British zoologist who hopes to reach the creature first.

Helping the Yeti to heal his wound, Yi nicknamed the Yeti as Everest, because it was the mountain he wanted to return.

Departing to protect their armpits from Everest across China, Yi joins his cousin Jin (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) and his friend Peng (Albert Tsai).
